The VV-VLC – Vector Vertical Autoload Cartoner is an innovative cartoner that combines the benefits of horizontal and vertical cartoning. The VV-VLC erects the carton on a horizontal plane, which produces a square carton with minimal faults. The carton will then transfer into a vertical orientation, and the product will be top loaded into the carton. This feature allows the VV-VLC to handle a wide variety of product applications and run at high-efficiency rates. The VV-VLC also includes a heavy-duty frame, Allen Bradley PLC and Servos, easy access for troubleshooting purposes, and full guarding with safety interlocks.

The VV-VLC can handle product applications such as bottles, pouches, cans, vials, and more. AFA designed and manufactured gantry and Delta 3 robots can be incorporated into the machine. AFA’s robot technology utilizes an Allen Bradley controls package that seamlessly integrates with the VV-VLC and ensures a common source for set-up, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Optional features such as all-servo changeover, extended magazines, and carton prebreak are available.
